We Shall Now Call Him Bear

For many moons, Aiden has been diligent in traveling the Wolf path.  The Young Brave was rewarded for his hard work last month with his Wolf badge. 

Some things he had to do:

-Keep track of his hygiene habits for two weeks (an eye opener for me...yikes!)

-Keep his room clean for a MONTH!  (This is no easy task when you share a room with your little brother, but he did it!)

-Know the rules of bike safety.

-Visit an historical site.

-Plan and prepare an outdoor meal.

Just to name a few!

Good job, my boy!  We are so proud of you!

Now, on to Bears we go!

Holy Crow! He's nine. NINE!

I can't believe I am the mother of a nine year old.  NINE!  That's one year away from the double digits.  I am sooo not ready for this.

We celebrated having this boy for nine years with a pool party at Grandma's house.

I bought a few water guns and Bret came up with a pool version of capture the flag to play with the kids.

The 'flags' were swimming noodles. 

We ate pizza and candy-coated apples.

Aiden chose an apple instead of a cupcake to put his candle on.  ???.  I'm going to need a DNA test to be sure this is my boy.  He may have been switched at birth.

He opened his gifts from his friends and cousins.
